• Seasoned Jazz Vocalist Charmaine Clamor has been tearing up the jazz world with her new CD Flippin' Out to national and international acclaim. • Congratulations to Patricia Rivera who sang in front of an audience of 12,000 at the Andre Agassi Charity Foundation. It was a very last minute call to test the audience talent and she wowed them with The Greatest Love of All by Whitney Houston. Quote from mega producer David Foster: "That was [expletive] good!". She received a 12,000 standing ovation!! Watch for her in 2008!


• Derrick Stewart, member of the famed rap group The Pharcyde, are back out on the road. Be sure to check them out at a local venue in your town.


• Congratulations to student Jon Dufresne! His past work as guitarist and singer in Billy Rancher's Unreal Godz has garnered him and his band entry into Oregon's first induction to their Music Hall of Fame!!!


• Rachel Lynn Sebastian (www.rachellynnmuziq.com) has been extremely busy in the music world as a performer and Studio Session Vocalist..
  Just some of her accomplishments:
  Vocals on Disney's High School Musical 2 Soundtrack! It is the largest seen show in television debut history.
  • Studio Vocalist for the new McDonalds Germany commercial. It is potentially the new McDonalds theme for the whole European Union and being considered for a world wide broadcast.
  • Signs an agreement with VAM out of NYC for major representation as an in studio vocalist: commercials, jingles, voice overs.
  • Releases her CD New Day on Rolling Beat Records
  • Named one of TOP FIVE in Singers Universe Magazine for her song Torture.
  • Many print reviews complimenting her excellent voice, control and style.

SKYPE LESSONS

One of the most valuable tools HVS has for working with their clients is Skype. Just because you don’t live in Los Angeles doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from the best of Hollywood’s vocal coaches. Each lesson is scheduled and booked out by the half an hour or hour and is paid with by credit card at the beginning of each lesson. They accept Visa/Mastercard and cannot wait to meet you through the wonderful advancements of technology!

VOCAL LESSONS

Learning good vocal technique helps put the pieces of the puzzle together. Singing isn't only about being in tune it's about imparting all vocal qualities that really paint the picture of a song: tone, dynamics, color, timing, rhythm, inflections and style. We will go through exercises that bring these great qualities out in your voice giving you the knowledge of how these naturally gifted singers take it to the next level.

Every lesson is recorded to a CD which will contain:

• Warmup exercises
• Better Breathing
• Increasing your upper and lower range
• Creating a balanced and mixed voice between registers
• Performance of your songs
• Vocal exercises that will help you flow from note to note effortlessly. These are great for vocal runs in Pop, R&B, Rock and Soul. They add character to your singing style.
• Note by note pitch tuning to ensure the melody is nailed every time.
• Comments on your progress and suggestions

Our studio has great experience in teaching professional and amateur singers reach their highest level. You will learn what these naturally gifted singers already know but the great thing about training is that the new technique becomes second nature or your new way of singing. You don't think about it anymore and now you're singing in the same way as those that you admire most.

ADREANA GONZALEZ

Adreana Gonzalez is a seasoned professional with years of stage and education experience. She attended the famed American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco while simultaneously receiving a rare 2 year full scholarship to Blue Bear School of American Music for singing and songwriting.

She relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her acting and singing career leading her to perform on many stages, recording studios, and television and film studios. Her reputation quickly grew and she has become an in demand commercial studio vocalist and studio actor. You can hear and see her work on national and international projects working with Warner Brothers on the film Valentine’s Day, CBS on the Young and the Restless, Morgan Creek Productions on the film Georgia Rule, Mattel for Barbie, Polly Pocket and more, Nike, Polaroid, and many others. Whether it is singing on stage performing Rock, Pop, Musical Theatre, Legit or leading her own Jazz Quartet, Adreana has gathered up quite a professional resume.

Adreana didn’t get to her professional level by wishing to make it happen, she sought out the best coaches to shape that talent which led her to studying with some of the best coaches in the world. Her former teachers include: Sandi Cressman, Michael and Jennifer Goodrich, Dave Stroud and she is currently under the instruction of Jeffrey Skousen and Seth Riggs himself. Her advanced knowledge has earned her a Level 4 stature among the Speech Level Singing community of instructors -speechlevelsinging.com- and she is now the EAG, Regional Director, for Southern California.

STUDIO HISTORY

Hollywood Vocal Studios was created by Adreana Gonzalez and Lee Lontoc. Both Lee and Adreana met while apprenticing under Michael and Jennifer Goodrich at the Goodrich Vocal Studio in Studio City — visit: goodrichvocalstudio.com They were soon asked to join Michael and Jennifer to become resident vocal coaches where they begun their ascent in the Speech Level Singing community of Los Angeles Coaches — visit: speechlevelsinging.com

Lee ushered Adreana to leave the Goodrichs’ and move on to creating their own studio, and after much convincing she did  Now they are both proud to say Hollywood Vocal Studios has been a successful part of the Los Angeles entertainment scene where both Lee and Adreana have had the priviledge of working with all levels of singers, including ones you may have heard of: Will Ferrell during the shooting of StepBrothers, Lexi Ainsworth from the cast of General Hospital, Melanie Brown of the Spice Girls, Mike Dirnt of Green Day, Nathan Leone of Madina Lake, Raquel Houghton (actress), Emma Caulfield (actress), Don Lee of n2u, Saoirse Ronan (actress), Sarai Givaty (model/actress), and many more.

Along with many of these celebrities they have also had the pleasure of working with Los Angeles based record labels in the development of many upcoming artists, such as: Universal Music Group, Sony, Virgin, Mercury UK, A&R Worldwide, Roadrunner Records, 3 Ring Circus, Geffen Records, TVG, Hollywood Records, Delicious Vinyl, and many more. They have also worked producers like: Ron Harris, triple platinum for Christina Aguilera, John Dixson, records with Lionel Richie, Jesse Johnson and The Time.

LEE LONTOC

Lee Lontoc has been around the musical block more than once. He attended a couple of Berklee's summer sessions and then went on to graduate from the world reknowned Dick Grove School of Music under the Keyboard Instruction and Voice Instruction Programs.

Touring has always been in his blood which led him countrywide singing, playing or sharing stages with some of musics most famous luminaries such as George Michael, Jermaine Stewart, Chick Corea, Gerald Levert, Levert, The Rude Boys, Men at Large, Ready for the World and more. Quality training with the best in entertainment has always been his philosophy in order to achieve his musical dreams and it worked. After private instruction with some of the finest teachers in both voice and piano Lee went on to study at The Goodrich Vocal Studio becoming one of their resident vocal coaches and earning his Technique Certification from Speech Level Singing International.

Having years of real world experience combined with an excellent educational history has led him to become a most sought after vocal coach and vocal stylist.
